Progress

Dodgeball championship league released at the start of this year as an early release version with only exhibition mode available to play. I had hoped to hear feedback which would inform the full release version. Despite many plays since launch there hasn't been as much feedback as I had hoped so I moved on to other projects. Since I'm blocked on other projects and I've had time to develop ideas for the game, I'm back to work and expecting to complete many of the core league features this year.

Leagues

32 teams will compete in a tiered league system with relegation and demotion at the end of each season. Start as one of 8 teams in the Bronze Cup and work your way up to Platinum. Finish in the top 4 in standings to compete in your tier's playoff to win your season cup and the prize money that comes with it.

Teams & Customization

Pick from any of 32 teams, each with a unique identity, or edit your team's name, logo, and colors. Set your roster positions based on their stats and customize individual players. Upgrade your roster with trades or through free agency.

Player Attributes

5 new attributes will govern the aptitude of players in each area of the game. No, not Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive and Dodge, I've rolled those into a single D. 

    Dodge - How far and fast a player can dodge. 
    Speed - How fast a player can move. 
    Catch - Success chance on catch attempts. 
    Block - Success chance on block attempts. 
    Power - How hard a player can throw the ball. 

Spend team funds to train a player in a particular attribute or treat injuries which would otherwise negatively impact their attributes.
